libopendkim-dev software package provides Headers and development libraries for the OpenDKIM library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libopendkim-dev
libopendkim-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libopendkim-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libopendkim-dev *
You will get with libopendkim-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
